In the category of high school students, the first place won the joint work of the students Jesenia Novak and Tena Kečkeš from the School of Civil Engineering Čakovec from Čakovec (ŠSD Graditelj), while in the category of elementary school students the best was work of the student Doris Žderić from the O.Š. Vladimir Nazor from Ploče (ŠSD Ploče).
At the invitation of the Croatian Olympic Academy, the awards were presented in Trogir by the prominent Croatian athlete and golden Olympian from Rio de Janeiro, Sara Kolak. The final ceremony of the World School Championships, in which the awards were presented, was supposed to be accompanied by fireworks and accompanying events at the fortress of Trogir, but unfortunately due to the bad weather the event was moved to an indoor space and held at the hotel Medena.
In the same hotel, where competitors and delegations from all over the world were accommodated for the entire time of the World School Championships, an exhibition of the best works, submitted to the competition, was set up. (cnoc/coa/ap)
