The minutes of the decision-making process of the Monitoring Committee of Operational Program Competitiveness and Cohesion (OPCC) contain response to the request of Committee member Alma Papić to grant the non-profit sports associations the use of financial instruments intended for micro, small or medium-sized enterprises (MSMSEs) within the OPCC for the period 2014-2020, in accordance with the Proposal on Amendments to the Operational Program. With this Amendment, a total of EUR 361 million shall be allocated from the Cohesion Fund within the priority axis (PA) 6 and 7 to the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) within the priority axis 3, in order to mitigate the negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
Therefore, the non-profit sports associations will also be eligible beneficiaries of OPCC financial instruments intended to mitigate the negative effects of COVID-19 pandemic on micro, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the applications for use of these instruments can be submitted as early as the next week.
