Čargo finished the competition with 66 (negative) points, with only France's Helen Noesmoen (46) and Italy's Marta Maggetti (47) collecting less than her.
On Sunday, the races for medals were held in the classes ILCA6 (formerly Laser Radial) and ILCA7 (formerly Laser). Croatian Olympian Elena Vorobeva (ILCA6) was ninth in the last race, finishing eighth with a total of fifty-six points. The Mediterranean Champion is France's Marie Barrue (25 points), silver went to Italy's Chiara Benini Floriani (30) and Turkey's Ecem Guzel (33) took bronze.
Stipe Gašpić finished third in the last race (ILCA7) but could not beat the overall result of his brother Bruno who finished fourth on the last day of competition. Bruno was 11th overall with seventy-seven points and Stipe finished 12th (99 points).
Even before the last race, French sailor Jean Baptiste Bernaz won gold medal (19 negative points), Spain's Joel Rodriguez Perez (35) kept silver and Italy's Giovanni Coccoluto (37) bronze.
Palma Čargo's bronze is the 15th medal of Croatian athletes at the Games in Algeria.
