In the semifinals, Ria Vojković defeated Italy's Serena Traversa (36-32), and held up well in the final match. However, Turkey's İnci Ece Öztürk was more precise overall and reached Mediterranean gold with a score of 35-28.

In the fight for medals, we had another representative. Carrolina Bajrić failed to reach bronze medal in Progressive throw. Slovenia's Tadeja Petrič celebrated with 24-18.

 

With two gold, three silver and four bronze medals (nine in total), Croatia is currently at the level of its overall Mediterranean average - in ninth place of medal rankings.

The last day of June (Thursday) brings new opportunities for medals. Judo, Sailing and Archery continues, followed by Athletics, Shooting, Basketball 3x3 (Croatia - Greece), Handball (Croatia - Tunisia), quarterfinal matches will be played by male (with Greece) and female volleyball players (with Italy)...
