Zagreb, June 7, 2019 - In cooperation of the Croatian Olympic Committee (HOO) and the Croatian Sports Journalists Association (HZSN), the Communications Seminary with very interesting topics was held at the headquarters of the Croatian NOC. The Seminary was attended by fifteen representatives of the national sports federations and associations and staff of the CNOC PR & Multimedia Department. Following the greeting words of the CNOC President Zlatko Mateša and HZSN President Jura Ozmec, experienced Hina’s (Croatian News Agency) photojournalist and official cameraman of the Croatian Athletes at the European Games in Minsk and at the Tokyo Olympics Damir Senčar talked about digital photography (its design and application).
The multi-award-winning Master of photography conceived the presentation with short introduction and being completely available for the questions of the attendees, which proved to be very effective. His presentation was followed by the presentation on social networking (how to use them and achieve their best performance) that was held by the Head of the Social Networking Department at the Experta University and columnist of the Večernji list newspaper Mate Mijić. He focused on three main and in Croatia most popular networks the employees in the sports system deal with on a daily basis - Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The ending of the seminary was rounded up by the topic on the Croatian NOC’s news service Sportska Hrvatska (Sports Croatia). The editorial of the Head of Croatian NOC’s Publishing, Public Relations and Web Department and founder and editor of Sportska Hrvatska, Radica Jurkin, showed the attendees who and to what extent participated in the aforementioned news service. With the presentation titled News Service Sportska Hrvatska at the first glance i.e. presentation of the SH mobile version, its technical editor- multimedia expert Željko Erceg - announced a new significant breakthrough. By activating the app on cell phones, SH news will be available to read daily in the mobile version.
For the next Communications Seminary, the organizers committed to prepare new attractive topics and lecturers and to attract an even bigger number of employees of sports federations, associations, as well as the County sports communities to a free but also an exceptionally valuable training.
