Ljubljana, 8 April 2022 - After Croatia paid tribute to the legendary basketball player and coach Petar Skansi at the commemorative gathering held at Split's Gripe on 7 April, the last farewell of the Croatian sports notable, who passed on 4 April at the age of seventy-eight, was held in Ljubljana on Friday at the city cemetery Žale.

Zagreb, 7 June 2020 - On this day 27 years ago, one of the greatest Croatian athletes of all time, Dražen Petrović, was killed in a car accident on the Nuremberg-Munich highway near the city of Ingolstadt in Germany. “Basketball Mozart,” as Italian journalists once called him, left us at the peak of his sports fame, at the age of 29.
