Zagreb, July 14, 2020 - The President of the Slovenian Olympic Committee, Bogdan Gabrovec, paid a working visit to the Croatian Olympic Committee (COC). He talked with the host, the head of the Croatian Olympic Committee and member of the EOCs Executive Committee Zlatko Mateša, about the upcoming session of the EOCs Executive Committee planned for the end of September in Ljubljana. If anti-pandemic measures (COVID-19)allow it, the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Thomas Bach should also be a guest at the said meeting.

Apart from the organizational aspects of the session, Mateša and Gabrovec also discussed the difficulties in training activities of male and female athletes due to the deteriorating safety and health situation in both countries. They pointed out that relations between the two neighboring countries in terms of sports are, as always, excellent.

The previous meeting of two heads of National Olympic Committees took place in early June at the commemoration of the late EOCs President JanezKocijančič, whose passing caused the Slovenian, European and world Olympism loose a great notable. (COC/VK)
