Zagreb, June 19, 2018 - The Delegation of Israeli sports directors visited the Croatian Olympic Committee (HOO) as part of a one-week visit to the Republic of Croatia (from June 18 to June 25, 2018).
After the visit to the Central State Office for Sports (SDUŠ) and - in order to keep the sports spirit - 18 distinguished female and male guests (15 male and three female directors), headed by the delegation Chief Ghazi Nujeidat, arrived to the Croatian Olympic Committee on foot.

In almost one-hour long meeting with Croatian Olympic Committee’s Vice President Sanda Čorak, Assistant Secretary General for Legal and General Matters Biserka Vrbek and Head of the Croatian Olympic Committee’s International Cooperation Department, Ljiljan Ujlaki Šubić, guests from Israel were introduced to the functioning of the umbrella association of Croatian sports. The introductory presentation by Vice President Čorak was followed by questions about the Croatian Olympic Committee’ organization as well as practical questions such as about the beginning of categorization of the youngest athletes. Of course, they also explained the Israeli experiences on this topic. Three Croatian Olympic Committee’s representatives had answers to all of their questions and in the end, the gifts in memory of their stay at the Croatian Olympic Committee.
After lunch, the guests from Israel visited the sports hall Arena Zagreb, Faculty of Kinesiology in Zagreb, KK Cedevita and later on - the city of Split. To complete the impression of the beauties of Croatia, they also visited Plitvice.
The Croatian Olympic Committee has a Memorandum on Sports Cooperation with the Israeli National Olympic Committee and this visit of their sports officials to Our Beautiful Homeland will surely strengthen the established connections. (COC/vk)
