Zagreb, February 15, 2016 - Croatian Olympic Committee (COC) and the Croatian National Tourist Board signed on February 15 a contract on construction of the Croatian House in Rio during the Olympics in August this year. "The Brazilian" Croatian house will be situated at the hotel "San Francisco", together with the national houses of Australia, Japan and New Zealand.

It will have a press center, marketing department and additional events promoting tourist, economic and sports potentials of Croatia. Otherwise, the first Croatian house was made for the purpose of performance at the Games in Athens in 2004 and it has proven itself as an excellent place for daily meetings with the Croatian Olympians and media representatives as well as for business negotiations between various legal entities. The new cooperation agreement with the national tourist board, which encompass the entire tourist offer of the Republic of Croatia, was signed in the Croatian Olympic Committee's headquarters by the Director of the Croatian Tourist Board main office Ratomir Ivičić and Secretary General of the Croatian Olympic Committee Josip Čop, in the presence of the President Zlatko Mateša, Croatian Olympic Committee's Assistant Secretary General for Marketing and Head of House Ranko Ćetković as well as media representatives.
