PyeongChang, February 20, 2018 - After finishing the two-men bobsleigh competition contest, Croatian bobsleighers turned to their "original" version - the four-men bobsleigh. There was no classic downhill training (the track is being refurbished and arranged) but day-to-day gathering that was actually, this time, far from a common daily-based one.

Namely, Croatian bobsleighers were visited by Prince Albert II of Monaco, a famous lover of this sport and a friend of our Head Coach Ivan Šola. In a short conversation, the ruler of Monaco expressed satisfaction with the fact that Croatia is participating at Winter Olympics in PyeongChang with two crews, evoking the memories from meeting with our Head Coach, long occupied with four-men bobsleigh. Of course, he wished the current four-men crew as fast and as successful ride as possible and the best possible placement in this weekend's competition.

The Manager Šola invited Prince Albert II to visit him this summer on the island of Šolta. Besides the Manager Šola, all the Olympians-members of the Croatian Olympic Bobsleigh Team (Dražen Silić, Mate Mezulić, Benedikt Nikpalj, Antonio Zelić and reserve member Đulijano Koludra) and Federation President Ivo Smrka were socializing with the ruler of the Principality of Monaco. There are two qualifying races awaiting our bobsleighers on Saturday and a third one on Sunday, and if they enter Top 20, they will be competing in the medal-winning group.
