Before game of the European cup of nations between Croatia and Czech Republic, in Zagreb was organized event with rugby national team players. Event also attended taekwondo national team players Iva Rados and Vedran Golec and learned basics of rugby and of course tried Haka!

Rio 2016 Olympic Games

Olympic Games Rio 2016 are held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) from August 5 th to August 21 st 2016.
At the Olympics, 11,547 athletes from 205 countries will be competing during 16 days in 33 sports.
The Croatian Olympic delegation counts 88 athletes (of which 19 female athletes) competing in 18 sports: Athletics, Cycling, Boxing, Gymnastics, Weightlifting, Wrestling, Sailing, Judo, Basketball, Swimming, Volleyball, Diving, Table Tennis, Shooting, Taekwondo, Tennis, Water Polo and Rowing.
Our athletes are accompanied by the 82 officials under the leadership of the Croatian Olympic Committee's Mission.
At the Opening Ceremony, held on August 5 th , the captain of the Croatian Olympic Water Polo Team Rio 2016 Josip Pavić bore the Croatian flag.
The first medal, a gold one, has been won by the Olympian Josip Glasnović, multiple European Champion and holder of medals from the European and World Championships in Trap.
