Lausanne, November 4, 2016 - The President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC), Sheikh Ahmad al-Fahad al-Sabah, appointed Zlatko Mateša, President of the Croatian Olympic Committee, ANOC representative in the Foundation Board of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
WADA’s Foundation Board is the highest management and decision-making body of this independent international organization, and has a total of 38 members representing the stakeholders of the Olympic Movement and governments. The Olympic Movement is represented by 18 members, of which there are four representatives of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), ANOC and the IOC’s Athletes Commission, three representatives of the Association of Summer Olympic International Federations and one representative of the SportAccord, the of International Olympic Winter Sports Federations and the International Paralympic Committee. WADA’s current President is Sir Craig Reedie, member of the International Olympic Committee.
