Besides silver, won at the XXII. Winter Olympics in Sochi in February 2014 by one of the most successful Croatian Olympians, skier Ivica Kostelic, from January up to the festive December days of this Olympic year, Croatian athletes have won - at more than 670 international competitions - 304 medals, of which 100 gold, 84 silver and 120 bronze.


Most medals (135) were won at the World Championships (44 gold, 39 silver and 52 bronze), followed by 101 medals won at the European Championships (28 gold, 22 silver and 51 bronze), along with 55 World Cups (22 gold, 19 silver and 14 bronze) and 12 European Cups (6 gold, and the 3 silver and bronze medals).
