Zagreb, November 20th 2013 - Croatian Olympic Committee and more than 170 years old multinational company Procter&Gamble (P&G), renewed in November 2013 their partnership, what will bring the greatest gains to younger athletes, the beneficiaries of the COC’s fund for development programs.
Namely, the company Procter&Gamble shall donate a certain amount of money per purchased product of the brands Pampers, Pantene PRO-V, Wella, Always, Ariel and Gillette - purchased in the period up to February 2014 – as support to athletes and their parents who undoubtedly play an important and inseparable role in their sports development. The examples of the families Kostelic, Vlasic, Glasnovic, Ude, as well as other families, speak in favor of the promotion campaign named “Thank you mom”, initiated by the company P&G on the global level.
The Croatian and world ski champion and holder of six Olympic medals (four gold and two silver), Janica Kostelic, is also participating in this campaign that supports the parents, without which the success of athletes is almost unimaginable.
Following the footprints of this task, the Croatian Olympic Committee is preparing the necessary guidelines for its members.
