ZAGREB, 20 June 2008 – The Croatian Olympic Committee (COC) and Raiffeisen Bank Austria d.d. (RBA) signed the fourth one-year cooperation agreement. RBA is a reliable long-time COC partner, in both sports and business sense, said Zlatko Matesa, COC President.

Besides to culture and humanitarian work, RBA, the fourth largest bank in Croatia in terms of total assets, allocates part of its revenue to sport, an extremely efficient promoter of Croatia in the world, hereby displaying a high level of social responsibility and business openness.  The one-million kuna agreement was signed by Mario Zizek, RBA Board Member, and Josip Cop, COC Secretary General, in the presence of Zlatko Matesa, COC President, and Vlasta Zubrinic-Pick, RBA Board Member. Mario Zizek pointed out that Raiffeisen Bank, as a member of the Croatian Olympic family, gladly takes over part of responsibility of investing into the development of Croatian sports, by supporting the COC, which plays the leading role in its development.
