Mediterranean Games Almeria 2005

The XV Mediterranean Games in Almeria, Spain, held from 24 June to 3 July 2005, included 3,500 athletes from 21 Mediterranean countries. They competed in 25 sports. The Croatian Mediterranean delegation led by Chef de Mission Damir Šegota consisted of 201 athletes, of whom 83 were women. Croatia won 26 medals – 5 gold, 10 silver and 11 bronze – and placed 11th in the medal count.
