The benefits that the host Liberec, the Liberec region and the Czech Olympic Committee, under the patronage of the EOC, provided for the young athletes is the essence of fellowship and solidarity of a movement such as world Olympism. The Croatian athletes did not win any medals, but they did acquire knowledge and experience that make them who they are in the world of solidarity, fair-play, friendship and experience which are especially precious for their personal as well as social growth.
