The reason for the visit was to invite the head of IOC, Jacques Rogge, to be an honorary guest of the 20th anniversary of COC in September this year which he gladly accepted.
Another reason that for our delegation’s visit was Rogge’s interest in the project: Sports Television in Croatia. The project was presented to him by the President of COC, Zlatko Mateša, which the IOC president and his associates assessed as excellent and as a sign of support offered their assistance.
The Croatian delegation was also received by the director of Olympic Solidarity, Pere Miro. The IOC President, Jacques Rogge, gave Sports Television an exclusive interview which will be aired on the first day of the program.
